Isabel Yap was born and raised in Quezon City, Philippines. She is currently finishing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, with minors in English and Japanese Studies, at Santa Clara University, California.  Her poetry and short stories have appeared in the Philippine Speculative Fiction series, The Philippines Free Press, Lauriat and Santa Clara Review, among others.
