Cathy Bryant worked as a life model, civil servant and childminder before writing full-time. In 2012 she won the Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Prize, the Sampad 'Inspired by Tagore' Contest, a Malahat Review Monostich Contest and the Swanezine Poetry Contest, and blogged for the Huffington Post. In 2013 she won the M.R. Jordan Short Fiction Prize and a Creative Futures Literary Gold Award. Bryant's work has been published all over the world.
