Mingjuan Tan read her first degree at the University of Cambridge, and is now studying graduate medicine. She has received several prizes for her poetry, including a high commendation from the Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award. Her writing has been published in journals and anthologies, such as Acumen Poetry Journal (UK), Writers' Forum (UK) and Kulit: Asian Literature for the Language Classroom (Singapore).
