Jonathan Mendelsohn has just returned to Canada after spending 5 years in Japan where, most recently, he taught at Doshisha university in Kyoto. He has a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and a Masters in Applied Linguistics. He has previously published in newspapers in Canada and magazines in Japan, including a review of Haruki Murakami's Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman. He is currently working on a novel.
