Geralyn Pinto lives in Mangalore, India where she serves as Head of the Department of English at St Agnes College (Autonomous). She is a poet and short story writer. Among her more significant achievements are prizes in the 2005 Outlook Magazine - Picador (India) Contest, the 2010 Unisun-Reliance TimeOut Contest and the 2013 International Shakespearean Creative Writing contest organized by the Save as Writers group, Canterbury. Her poems have been featured in journals published by the University of Leeds, Mahidol University, Thailand and the University of London. Pinto belongs to the British writers group, Alibi, and is currently engaged in writing her first novel. [Poetry]
