Born in Manila, Philippines and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Amalia B. Bueno is an educator and writer. Her poems and stories have appeared in various literary journals, anthologies and magazines, including Bamboo Ridge, Hawaiʻi Pacific Review, and Tinfish.
