Christopher Hill is a New Zealander who has spent the last decade teaching, writing and researching in Hong Kong and Indonesia. He has a passion for the histories and cultures of Asia, which form the inspiration for his poetry writing, creative non-fiction and short stories. He holds a masters degree in communication studies from Auckland University of Technology and is a PhD candidate at City University of Hong Kong; his current research focuses on music figures in the contemporary novel.
