Reto Winckler is currently a PhD candidate at the English Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Originally from Hamburg, Germany, he has lived in China for the past eight years. His research focus is madness in Shakespeare, but he is also interested in philosophy, modern literature, German history, America, and the written word in general.
