Karen Cheung is a journalist and writer from Hong Kong. She is currently a senior reporter at Hong Kong Free Press. She is also the Hong Kong desk editor at ArtAsiaPacific and a co-founding editor of Still / Loud, an online magazine about music and culture in Hong Kong. She has written for Al Jazeera, the LARB China Channel, openDemocracy and Hong Kong Review of Books, amongst others. She is a BA (Literary Studies) and LLB graduate from the University of Hong Kong.
