Phoebe Tsang is a British-Canadian poet, author, librettist and playwright whose artistic practice favours interdisciplinary collaboration and improvisation as a vehicle for composition and performance. She is the author of the full-length poetry collection Contents of a Mermaid's Purse (Tightrope Books), and her libretti have been commissioned by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Canadian Sinfonietta, Talisker Players, and Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra. Her play in progress, I Am Not Iphigenia, was selected for the 2018 Gros Morne Playwrights' Residency (Canada).
