Patrick Jiang has lived in several countries in Asia, the Americas and Europe but calls Hong Kong home. He dabbled in literature and linguistics while studying for his law degree at the University of Hong Kong, and remains interested in the interplay and intersection between the three fields. When not working on court cases, he enjoys—or at least tries to make time for—reading modern and contemporary fiction, with a special interest in British and Japanese writers. [Book Reviews]
