The Lift, staged in 1991, was selected to be read at the Third International Women Playwrights’ Conference in Adelaide in 1994. In 2000, she attended the Iowa International Writing Program at the University of Iowa, USA on a National Arts Council Fellowship. In 2007, she was one of four writers attending the Ars Interpres Festival in Stockholm, Sweden. [
