L.M. Magalas grew up in a small Canadian town with her family, a notebook, a giant red pencil and her imagination. Since then she has written countless stories and poems, and has had her work published in Toasted Cheese and The First Line. Her first attempt at a novel was a ten-page story about a pair of adopted kids, written when she was seven. She is currently rethinking this plan and is working on another, more substantial, novel.
