Andrea (Ondi) Lingenfelter is a poet and translator of poetry, fiction and occasional film subtitles. Her translations of Zhai Yongming and other poets have appeared in a number of anthologies and journals, including a forthcoming NEA-Copper Canyon anthology of contemporary Chinese poetry. She translated the novels Candy, by Mian Mian, and Farewell My Concubine, by Lilian Lee. Changing Room, her book length collection of translations of selected poems by Zhai Yongming, is forthcoming from Zephyr Press. She currently lives in Northern California. [Read]
