David Rong was born in 1955 and graduated with a masters degree in Chinese literature from Beijing University in 1988. He is the director and curator of Art Next Gallery in New York. The recent shows that he has curated or co-curated include Chinaism (2009), Over the Wall (2009 and 2010), Make Love Not War (2010), Connection: Nature (2010) and Demolition: Second History (2011).
