Nicky Harman lives in the UK. She works as a literary translator as well as being an active contributor to the Chinese literature in translation website, Paper Republic. She has just completed translating the novel Gold Mountain Blues 《金山》, by Zhang Ling, and a volume of Han Dong's poetry, and is working on a novella by Yan Geling.
