Kenneth Alewine is a member of the PhD programme at the Institute for Medical Humanities, University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. Alewine received his BA n English from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri and a MS in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A & M – Texarkana and recently received his second Master's degree (M.A. in Humanities) from the University of Houston - Clear Lake. Alewine's interests include art and medicine, phenomenological narratives of illness, poetry, religion and healing.
