by Louise Leung
Rusted iron, expired toxins
Gunpowder chafes against deluded air
Probability calculation on who and what was shot
Suffocating in my speechless words
Left a trail of red on the concrete road
It didn’t stop there
Vaguely seen, the numbers without meanings
Known only to whoever cares to know
Black is not your colour
An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth
To kill fire with fire
And to break walls with eggs
Black is not your colour
